When I think about school lunch I think about two things: quick and easy. Between making breakfast, trying to get the kids dressed, ready and out the door, mornings are hectic. Usually school lunches come down to whatever is easiest to throw together and keeping it somewhat healthy but knowing its something my son will eat. Here are 5 school lunches that your kids are sure to love and you will love making!
Crackers and Cheese with Turkey Lunchmeat

Crackers
Schar crackers are our favorite gluten free round cracker, similar to a Ritz cracker! You can find them here, at Thrive Market.
Cheese Slices
The pre-sliced cheese squares are the perfect size and work great so kids can make their own little cracker, cheese and meat sandwiches.
Turkey
If you have a Costco membership their organic turkey is a must, its so juicy and tender.
Strawberries
Almond Butter Puffs Cereal
Trader Joes makes this cereal, it’s almost like Reeses Puffs but with almond butter instead of peanut butter.
Apple
Pepperoni and Cheese with Pretzels

Cheese Sticks
Pepperoni
My two favorite brands of pepperoni are Applegate and Garrett Valley Farms. Applegate is your typical pepperoni but the Garret Valley Farms have more flavor and spice than your traditional pepperoni.
Pretzels & Blueberries
For the perfect crunchy gluten free pretzel, try Snyders brand, they have classic pretzels, sticks and even the larger pretzel rods.
Veggie Sticks
I found these at Thrive Market, the ingredients are much cleaner than your typical “veggie straw” and they come in small individual bags or a full size bag.

Apple Gummies
These gummies from Trader Joes are made from apples and apple juice, without all the added cane sugar or corn syrup that gummies usually have.
Cheese, Bean & Salsa Quesadilla

Quesadilla
For this quesadilla I took a tortilla and added lots of cheese, some black beans and homemade salsa.
Graham Crackers
We love Wild Harvest Organic. If you are gluten and dairy free, Schar has one that is delicious! I purchase Schar at both my local grocery store as well as Thrive Market.
Apples with Cinnamon
PB&J Chocolate Candy
Ocho is one of our favorite chocolate treats, they are organic and use minimal ingredients. You can find them at Target!
Ham and Cheese Roll Up

Ham and Cheese Roll Up
To make just use a tortilla, add a little shredded cheese, lay a few slices of deli ham on it, sprinkle with a little bit more cheese, warm and roll up!
Pickles
Grillo’s Pickles remind me of homemade canned pickles with big pieces of garlic and dill in the container. Because of this its much stronger in flavor than your typical Vlasic style pickle but we love it!
PB & J Snack Pack
These little snack packs from Trader Joes are great for an easy snack.
Chocolate Covered Coconut Treat
Think of this as a healthy version of a mounds bar. They melt in your mouth and are made with clean ingredients! I buy a big bag at Costco and is the perfect little after lunch treat for your kids school lunch.
Chips with Guacamole and Cheese

Chips
Guacamole
The individual guacamole cups are the perfect size and portion for school lunches.
Cheese Stick
Red Grapes
PB & J Snack Pack
These crunchy little peanut butter filled wafter sticks come with a little container of raspberry jelly for dipping. The kids love them! (please note not all schools allow peanut butter)
